Butterfly park inaugurated at PAKE Tiger Reserve by Hon’ble Minister Biyuram Wahge

The Honโ€™ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare and Water Resources Department, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, Sri Biyuram Wahge, inaugurated a brand-new Butterfly Park at Pake Tiger Reserve (PTR). The event paid tribute to Forest Martyrs, recognized Homestay owners with assistance, and featured a tree-planting drive. Human-Elephant Conflict (HEC) support kits were distributed to local communities to bolster coexistence efforts.

Significantly, the event also marked the launch of PTRโ€™s official website, informative pamphlets, and a comprehensive Mahuts Training program aimed at enhancing the skills of elephant handlers. This inauguration reflects PTRโ€™s dedication to biodiversity conservation and community involvement.
