A team of 74 enthusiastic volunteers from across India has gathered to participate in the three-day event, covering 38 campsites throughout the reserve.
This citizen science initiative aims to shed light on the diverse butterfly population of the area while fostering biodiversity awareness. In addition, the survey provides valuable on-ground experience for staff, who are receiving expert training to enhance their conservation skills. Volunteers will meticulously document species, contributing to crucial data collection efforts that play a role in the broader conservation mission.
