Over the past three days, the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department has been conducting intensive capacity-building training sessions for its staff at the range level. These sessions are in preparation for the upcoming Annual Wildlife Count, a crucial event particularly focusing on herbivores. This tradition, overseen by the Madhya Pradesh Forest Department (@minforestmp), has been a key part of wildlife conservation efforts for many years. 

The Annual Wildlife Count, scheduled to take place from July 17th to 20th, 2024, is conducted every year during the monsoon season. The training sessions aim to equip the team with the necessary skills and knowledge to ensure accurate and effective wildlife monitoring.
