Formation of Chhattisgarh State Wildlife Board includes 3 MLAs

The Department of Forests and Climate Change has formed the Chhattisgarh State Wildlife Board, incorporating three MLAsโ€”Dharamjeet Singh, Chhaya Verma, and Gomti Sai. These legislators, along with representatives from conservation organizations, aim to strengthen wildlife protection efforts across the state. Additionally, two distinguished members have been appointed to represent the tribal communities.

The board will also include eminent representatives from three conservation groups, such as the World Wildlife Fund (WWF), Nature Conservation Society, and the Indian Society for Wildlife Research. This diverse team will work collaboratively on initiatives to preserve Chhattisgarhโ€™s biodiversity and address environmental challenges.
