Delegates deliver engaging talk on forest conversation in India at special foundation course

An insightful talk on “Forest Conservation in India” was delivered at Dr. MCR HRD Institute, Hyderabad, as part of the Special Foundation Course for Officers organized by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India. The session, held under the auspices of Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), was attended by 226 officers from various All India and Central Civil Services.
Participants included officers from services such as IPS, IFS, ISS, IES, IRS, and ICLS, among others. The engaging session emphasized the importance of forest conservation and sparked active discussions on innovative strategies for sustainable management and environmental protection.
This event highlights the commitment of civil servants to promoting eco-conscious governance and the role of forests in addressing climate challenges. It aligns with Telangana’s green initiatives like Haritha Haram, championed by the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) and the Telangana Chief Secretary’s Office (CS).
Such knowledge-sharing sessions are crucial in shaping a future-ready administrative cadre to tackle environmental concerns at both regional and national levels.
