In a compassionate rescue operation, a group of 27 wild boars, including several young ones, were saved from an open well in Odisha’s Keonjhar Forest Division. Forest staff quickly responded to the situation by constructing a ramp, allowing the boars to escape safely. All the animals returned to the forest, with one small litter happily reuniting with its mother.

This act, shared by IFS officer Susanta Nanda, highlights the commitment of forest officials to protect all wildlife, regardless of size or species. The rescue is a beautiful reminder that every life in the forest is valuable, deserving of care and respect.
